Newly Accredited Ministers (NAMS)

Building on our distinctive Ministers in Training approach—where theological study is held together with spiritual growth, personal development, relational learning and practical missional leadership—our support for NAMs creates space to reflect on the transition into ministry, learn alongside peers and draw on experienced practitioners as you develop your own vocation.

We seek to accompany ministers in the whole of ministry, working in partnership with Associations through gatherings, retreats, mentoring, CMD opportunities, and access to St Hild’s wider expertise in church planting, pioneering, mission on the margins, rural ministry, and spirituality. It all happens in tune with our College vision: nurturing adventurous and Christ-like formation for the renewal of the church and the transformation of communities.

We will walk alongside a NAM to agree on their continuing development during this period, building a strong relationship with a personal tutor who is very experienced in Baptist Ministry.
